The powerhouse among the toilets
I never thought I would be this interested in toilets - until I started learning about them to a level that I know the best among them by heart.
I also learnt a very important thing through my researches ; most of the toilets out there aren’t worth your time.
It’s crushing to see buyers making the wrong choice and buying one of the worst - without knowing about it until it’s too late.
That’s why I’m very selective about my reviews and I don’t write about anything that isn’t a favourite.
In this particular review, I choose to write about the Champion-4 two piece toilet.
It caught my attention with its powerful flush, but then, it has many added benefits that make it worth a buy.
Let’s see how.
A Champion Flusher
If you’ve been looking to put an end to toilet clogs - then look no further!
This unit, beyond the shadow of a doubt, has the best flush among its competitive units.
I’ve plenty of reasons to back my claim. For example, the trapway and the flush valve of Champion-4 are currently the largest on the market.
As a result, it can flush down anything that are 70% larger than the ordinary toilets. In other words, it could take down nearly 1000 grams of - err - stools at once.
What’s even more surprising is that it takes only 4 seconds to complete the flush. So if you find the force of it to be a bit loud, it would be over even before you realize.
American Standard even claim to have tested it with sending a bucket of golf balls down the toilet! The toilet has also received the highest rating for bulk removal.
However, I believe that they could’ve done better with the flush handle. It’s made up of plastic - though not breakable, it seems to ruin the overall quality of the toilet.
Flush without Fear
I think I’ve arose your curiosity with all the flushing power, and you might want to know whether it’s efficient in its consumption of water.
My answer is yes - it needs only 1.6 gallons for a complete flush. Though not the most efficient in the industry, it’s still way better than the older models.
And you only need to flush it once - no double flushes are needed to remove even the smears.
This way, you can save heaps of water.
At 16 and a 1/2 inches, Champion-4 meets the standard height necessary to be comfortable.
It’s also ADA certified. This ensures that, while seated, anyone from the tallest to the shortest person in your house would feel at ease emptying their bowels.
However, if you’re shorter than the average, then you might have to sit with your feet dangling off the floor. It could be a minor issue, but given its performance, I wouldn’t mind a little bit of inconvenience.
After all, perfection is overrated.
EverClean antimicrobial surface
Cleaning a toilet is an additional chore that I’m sure you aren’t looking forward to.
That’s why the patented EverClean surface is praised so much. It's glossy and smooth - leaving hardly any room for smears, stains, dirts and the growth of mold and mildew.
When it does stain, however, cleaning is super easy. You don’t have to sweat scrubbing it - it’ll come off easily with a mild soapy water.

Buy with confidence
In most cases, warranty is directly related to the quality of the product.
That’s why it’s important to have an eye on it before making a purchase decision and I never forget to inform my readers about it.
Your purchase of Champion-4 will be secured by a 10-year warranty that backs everything from the internal parts to the china on the outside.
This warranty is pretty long and is enough to boast how confident the manufacturer is about their product. They even claim to have tested it 100% for defects and maximum performance.
But just to be on the safe side, my advice would be to check it thoroughly before the delivery guy leaves. Even if the box is sealed, and shipped without defects, nobody can guarantee the condition of the unit in transit.

Things to Consider
The Champion-4 doesn’t come with a toilet seat, so you need to buy one separately. You can see suggestions from Amazon under ‘frequently bought together’.
Also remember that this is a two piece toilet - but you can still do the plumbing on your own. And since the package comes with two bolt caps, it’ll spare you the expense of buying them separately.
However, if you like a one-piece toilet better, then don’t forget to check our review on American Standard 2034.014.020 toilet. It’s very much similar to 2023.214.020 and has hardly anything to complain.
